depths
i like all the layers in this picture. the picnic table, railing, fence, other fence, red tree...
i don't like spending time preparing food
cinnamon sugar toast and this coffee type drink that isn't really coffee, that's about as much work as i like to do for breakfast. and that is on an ambitious day.
just frosty
the tiny bits of frost are lovely, clean looking, thirst quench looking and nice. this was the first frost of the year.
frosty with red
the leaves are all gone from this red tree now. i looked at them every day. they were beautiful.
goin' to the movies
we've lived in cities as big as 400,000, we've lived in communities with a population of 6,000. we always go to the movies. we like the movies. the mark up on snacks may be like 2000%, but you gotta waste money and have fun some how right?

peep hole
I was looking to see if the moving van for the folks next door was still out there and noticed the shadow of the tree on my dead winter grass and the cold morning sun. So I got my camera and took a picture through my peep hole.
cold feet
Give me a camera and you never know what will end up on the memory card. I actually see the world now with the thought "That's a neat angle" almost everywhere I go.
I have three digital camera and take a lot of pictures with my phone.
